We want to make sure that the costume and make up for our characters works well. we have done research into other zombie characters to know how they are portrayed in films. The powerpoint above shows the conclusions we have came to about zombie make up used.

PLANNING: Location

We wanted to make sure that we found a location which suited our needs for the film making as well as fitted what we were looking for. We took pictures of various locations, but had decided it should be set in a park. We wanted to make sure that the location looked right for a horror genre, but also whether it would be a suitable and realistic place to film.

Final Location

Once we decided on Creaton park we then took more pictures of the park and started to focus on filming areas in more detail. We started discussing the best positions for the establishing shot and also other shots.

 

Key:

A - where the girl/ victim in the scene will be positioned on the swings

B - where the zombie will be positioned at first in the field behind the victim

C - where the camera will be positioned for the establishing shot and the direction it will pan round

These are the final storyboards we have made for our film, we worked together as a groups and all decided on a storyline we thought would be suitable for our film.



PLANNING: Twitter/Instagram

We have set up a Twitter and Instagram account so that we can update people on where we are in our planning of the construction and also a way to record our progress.

On Twitter we update ‘tweets’ to let people know what we have planned for the day as a group.

Our Group

Charlotte BrownCharlotte is a key member of our group and we find it easy to get along with her, Charlotte comes up with creative ideas and this was helpful for planning the opening two minutes. She is good at using the camera and camera techniques.

Morgan Evans

Morgan is another key part of our group, she is very good at the technical side of media which includes editing and working the macs. Morgan is easy going and therefore easy to talk to and express my ideas with.

Alice Mutton

"Alice is 1/3 of our group and she is a key member, Alice is really good at the creative side of media. She comes up with great ideas and opinions. Alice also brings a fun aspect to the group with her sense of humour." - Charlotte and Morgan.
